Delia Ephron (born July 12, 1944) is an American author, screenwriter, and playwright. She is the youngest of four daughters of screenwriters Phoebe and Henry Ephron.

Ephron began her career as a journalist, writing for magazines such as Esquire and New York. She later transitioned to screenwriting, writing the films Silkwood (1983), Heartburn (1986), and Sleepless in Seattle (1993).

Ephron has also written several novels, including Hanging Up (1994), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), and Left on Tenth (2013).

Ephron is a recipient of the Writers Guild of America Award, the Humanitas Prize, and the Golden Globe Award. She is married to Peter Rutter.
